About the role

We are looking for an IT INFRASTRUCTURE SPECIALIST to work on the IT systems of the production and quality control laboratories, together with the other professionals of the IT department.

As part of the IT team, the specialist will design, integrate and manage all the computer systems of the production and quality control laboratories, including all the traceability processes performed on the different applications, the definition of third party software integrations and the impact of the changes made on the validated processes. The specialist must communicate well and have a solid foundation in systems and microcomputing, as well as the analytical and logical ability to understand the importance and criticality of the systems and their processes, as well as ensure the integrity of the systems data. You must be proactive and responsible, with organizational capacity and discipline to document and demonstrate the different preventive and corrective actions to be performed on the systems. You will be integrated and rotate within the IT Guard team (24x7) to attend those business critical incidents that may compromise the integrity of the systems or the core production processes of the business.

Responsibilities

• Analyze processes, evaluate the impact of changes in different systems, define and implement solutions and ensure data integrity and backups.
• Collaborate, ensure and analyze the proper integration of third party software.
• Working with vendors and IT teams to ensure that system access and functionality is executed correctly.
  
• Execution of system configuration tasks and implementation of new functionality.
• Support different departments in the configuration and validation of IT systems, following quality standards and current regulations.
• Documenting processes for the IT administration of the system and documenting incidents or requests to feed the knowledge base.
• Manage and resolve tickets on incidents, requests and preventive maintenance tasks in the ticketing tool.
• Manage and maintain the inventory tool.
• Manage and maintain the communications tasks of the teams with the infrastructure and ensure compliance with the company's cybersecurity standards.
• Foster a dynamic, communicative and respectful work culture within the team and across departments.
• Responsibility to be an integral part of the IT Guard team.
  
  About you
  

• Advanced training in Computer Systems Administration or similar University Degree.
• High level of knowledge and experience working as a Microcomputer IT Technician or Computer Systems Administration.
• High ability to analyze and identify the root cause of incidents.
• High ticket resolution skills.
• Experience and understanding of Azure, Windows Server and Windows 10.
• Experience and understanding of running a Domain, Active Directory, Gpos environment.
• Experience and basic understanding of networking (Firewall, VPN, Switches, vlans, network protocols).
• Knowledge of virtualized environments (Vmware, Horizon).
• Knowledge of backup environments (tape drives, veeambackup).
• Proactivity and positive attitude to change and challenges.
• Enjoy being able to work in a multidisciplinary environment, within a high performance and collegial IT group.
• Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Feel comfortable working within a 24x7 on-call group.
• Knowledge of Lansweeper is a plus.
• Knowledge of Linux is a plus.
• Experience and understanding of pharmaceutical industry processes and regulatory standards (CSV, GAMP, CFR21 part 11).
